Job Description

  • To prepare various legal documents such as Terms of service, Disclaimer, License agreements, MOU, Non-Disclosure agreements, Patent filing, infringement notice, Trademark and copyright applications, EPC Contracts.
  • Review of various types of contracts in accordance with standard Terms & Conditions of the Company & Checking Draft Contract Agreements & making finalization of agreements as per the requirements of the Company.
  • Studying Pre-qualification and Tender documents and making notes on the legal & commercial related issues.
  • Studying the contractual conditions of tender documents for various infrastructure projects and preparing the contractual risks pertaining to legal & commercial issues.
  • To attend Arbitration Tribunals and also to attend Metropolitan, City Civil and Sessions, High Courts at various places through out India and to have regular follow up with the Advocates and Counsels and to prepare cases statement list and cases strategy list and to prepare the briefing papers which has to be briefed before our Advocates.
  • Related to disputes of Interpretation of the Clauses in the Contract Agreement. Also, in Property matters of all kinds including conveyances, leases, mortgages, leave & license, etc
  • To update the latest development and Amendments in law which have got influence on functioning of the Company.
  • To brief, engage, co-ordinate with the Counsels/Senior Counsels for initiating and defending lawsuits.
  • To look IPR related issues and to safe guard Company’s Patent and Trade Marks.
  • Handling of customer contracts including drafting, negotiation, monitoring review and closing the contractual performance.
  • Fixed Assets of Swelect: Title Opinions and maintaining and updating of XL files for the fixed assets of our Company across India. To obtain the necessary documents such as Encumbrance certificates, Tax receipts, VAO certificates etc from the concerned departments.
  • To advise the Management and suggest the proper course of action relating to all Legal issues pertaining to Labour, Land, Registration of Documents, Statutory Compliances etc., thereby protecting the interest of the Company.
  • To maintain Legal Files and Documents and prepare a monthly Report on Status of Legal issues to the Managing Director.
