Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the BFSI industry, preferably with exposure to legal matters related to financial institutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Handle legal matters related to banking operations and transactions.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice on various banking products and services.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laws governing the BFSI sector.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve legal issues and disputes.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents.
Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance to stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex legal issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in the BFSI industry, preferably in a similar role.
