Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing legal team, including direct management, workflow oversight, and ongoing skills development.
Provide robust legal advice and support on a range of commercial transactions, contracts, compliance issues, and disputes.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and agreements, supporting the team in high-stakes matters.
Implement and oversee legal policies, standard procedures, and compliance frameworks across the department.
Coach and train legal and business staff on compliance and relevant legal topics.
Advise management and cross-functional stakeholders on legal exposure, commercial risk, and regulatory changes.
Manage external legal counsel and ensure efficient handling of litigation and dispute resolution.
Monitor industry best practices and relevant laws to ensure the legal team remains up to date and aligned with business goals.
