Job Description

Draft, review, and vet various contracts and agreements. Ensure comply with regulatory requirements
Assess legal risk and provide legal advice and opinions to internal stakeholders on various business and operational matters to minimize legal exposure
Identify legal risks across business functions and provide solutions to mitigate exposure
Develop and maintain internal policies and guidelines e.g. notice correspondence policy, contract management policy, compliance policy and litigation management policy
Manage ongoing legal suits, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes
Engage and coordinate with external counsel for case representation and develop legal strategies
Ensure timely compliance with judgments, decrees, and interim orders issued by courts or tribunals
Draft and file petitions, replies, affidavits, and other court-related documents
Develop and maintain a litigation tracker
Collaborate with internal teams to gather case-specific information
