Legal Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage and audit all legal compliances, event-based and periodic filings within timelines
• Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and corporate documentation
• Draft and review board resolutions, agreements and governance documents
• Support secretarial audits, due diligence exercises, and compliance reporting
• Liaise with auditors, legal advisors, external consultants and regulatory authorities
• Monitor changes in corporate laws and ensure timely implementation
• Support corporate actions such as share allotments, ESOPs
• Ensure strong governance practices and compliance frameworks within the organization

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with ICSI membership
• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial & legal compliance
• Strong working knowledge of MCA, ROC, Companies Act & corporate governance norms
• Experience in secretarial audits and regulatory filings
• Excellent documentation, drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
• Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
