Job Description: Legal Manager Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including third-party, operations, service, marketing, and partnership agreements. Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders and lead negotiations with external parties to ensure legally sound and commercially favorable terms. Identify legal risks related to new business initiatives, products, or market expansions and offer proactive, practical solutions. Monitor, interpret, and advise on changes in laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines impacting the business. Collaborate with external legal counsel on matters involving new product launches, market entry strategies, and areas such as compliance, data privacy, and security. Design and implement efficient processes for contract negotiation, review workflows, and legal operations. Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, contract management systems, and legal documentation databases. Interface with law enforcement and investigative authorities on legal matters concerning the company. Provide legal and transactional support across various business functions and initiatives. Serve as lead counsel for strategic transactions, resolving legal issues in ongoing commercial relationships, and managing pre-litigation matters and legal inquiries. Oversee compliance programs including filings, policy implementation, and periodic reviews to ensure regulatory adherence. Respond to time-sensitive legal inquiries across all areas of business operations. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external legal advisors, advocates, and consultancy firms handling the companys legal matters. Keep legal documentation updated, track case developments, and report key insights and implications to senior management or the board when required. Manage internal legal policies and align them with evolving business needs. Conduct legal research to support decision-making and provide guidance on specialized issues.
