Job Description: Department:- IT Infrastructure HOD Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: - Lead, supervise and guide the Network & server Administration, Endpoint & CCTV team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time. Preparation and Submission of all notes of network & server Administration, End Point & CCTV to Head/ IT committee/ any higher authority. Install, deploy, maintain, and support all server/network and data center related devices and software. Install, deploy, maintain, support, and document network, storage, and virtualization hardware software, and security systems. Analyze, isolate and address relevant systemic issues within agreed to Service Level Agreements (SLA). Monitor critical server systems to ensure availability and accessibility with the requisite security. Implement and adhere to a structured Change Request process and execution for all changes / modifications to the data center server infrastructure. Determine system requirements, plan for growth and implement proactive measures such that availability of the systems is least affected. Maintain integrity of the network/server deployment, and security or all related sys- tems. Maintain and ensure upkeep of virtualized servers/storages, switches, firewalls, routers, SDWAN devices, IPS/IDS appliances, NMS servers, VPN gateways, spam filtering devices, log collection devices, IP-PBX systems, AV systems, Proxy servers, GLSB, LLB, SLB servers, etc. Ensure proper incident reporting is adhered with RCA follow-up Request for quotes, analyze, and propose solutions for new requirements providing technical evaluation and inputs to senior management. Manage DNS, Active Directory and Group Policy in an optimum manner following best practices. Ensure that all technical and compliance documentation is complete in all respects. De- velop and follow a structured Incident and problem management program to provide optimum service levels to end users and customers. Ensure that offline backups are available of annual, quarter, month & post changes on all equipment configurations and firmware, ensure back-ups are fully checked for data com- pleteness and restorability, Ensure that back-ups are stored minimally at two physically separate secured locations. Ensure all datacenter equipment including racks, sensors, notification systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, battery back-up systems, auxiliary power generation systems , fire detection and suppression systems, access control systems , etc. are maintained, sat- isfactorily Ensure all data center equipment annual maintenance contracts and SLAs are adhered to by third party partners Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are performed without fail and in line with the operability of the said equipment Ensure all systems uptime of 99.99% is achieved with absolute no downtime during business hours. Ensure all licensing policies upgrades and patching are tested and implemented in timely manner Ensure all escalations with third party providers are done timely to achieve minimal downtime of systems, Ensure proper documentation and contracts are prepared, main- tained and updated at regular cadence. Liaise with relevant bodies (regulatory and non-regulatory) to ensure timely delivery of connectivity and systems with introduction of new regulations and technologies Lead End point Team & ensure IT Hardware infrastructure installation, maintenance and provide solutions. Ensure Procurement and AMC renewal of required hardware and software license, (Desktop, Storage media, other computer peripherals, Microsoft OS, MS Office, WinRAR, Antivirus) and process vendor payment Ensure all Endpoint security including antivirus, Operating System (OS), and application patches are applied to all hardware equipment on the network and compliance is main- tained appropriately. Ensure all end point related queries raised by user are resolved in timely manner Supervise the functionality of CCTV & ensure its compliance adherence as per guide- lines, accurate record keeping & all equipment are fully functional. Ensure various compliances pertains to your work are in adherence with guidelines. Any other work assigned by the Reporting Authority. Requirements: Qualification and Skill • • • • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in IT Infrastructure In-depth knowledge of network architecture, server administration.
