Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, your role involves guiding internal stakeholders on risks and mitigants during partnerships, ventures, and safeguarding the bank's interests throughout the documentation, execution, post-execution checks, and balances. Your expertise should include hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating IT and Service contracts. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting and reviewing various contracts such as software licenses, SaaS agreements, PaaS agreements, On-prem license agreements, Hardware Procurement Agreements, Master Service IT Agreements, and more - Demonstrated track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts - In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements - Strong legal research and analytical skills - Excellent negotiation and communication abilities - Effective management and prioritization of multiple projects and deadlines - Competency in analyzing and interpreting complex IT contracts - Collaboration with compliance, risk, TPRM, Procurement, and IT teams on legal issues - Updating internal policies and procedures for contract management - Monitoring and informing on changes addressed by regulators and courts - Coordinating with external advisors on resolving complex issues Qualification Required: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Law from a recognized university Experience: - 5 to 10 years of total experience You will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and risk management within the organization, requiring proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.,
