Legal Associate

Role Description

Real Estate Company in Chennai looking for proactive legal professional with minimum of 3-4 years’ experience to handle legal, liaison works, and customer relation management. The role requires ownership of tasks end-to-end from initiation to closure while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effective communication across stakeholders.

Salary Range

CTC 4.8 lakhs to 6.0 lakhs (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Law graduate with minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience in handling Litigation matters
• Strong drafting skills, with hands-on drafting experience negotiating and interpreting commercial agreements
• Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, customer-handling skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Relevant experience in the real estate sector is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Handling litigation matters across various forums
• Coordinate with external lawyers, advisors and internal teams of the company.
• Draft, review, negotiate and administer a broad range of agreements and contracts, ensuring end to end oversight.
• Prepare and respond to legal notices, petitions, and related documentation..
• Address and resolve all legal queries and concerns raised by customers, including drafting replies to customer concerns, negotiating solutions, explaining legal nuances effectively to customers.
• Assist in managing all operations within the legal department and administrative tasks and provide legal advice on a broad range of issues.
• Maintain and manage documentation of all legal records in an organized manner.
• Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned.
