About the Role We are hiring a Legal Office Operations Executive to manage and streamline the daily functioning of a growing litigation and legal services practice in Patna. This is a core operational role with a clear growth path into Office Manager / Practice Manager, aligned with the long-term growth of the firm and the level of responsibility handled. This is not a traditional clerk role. The position focuses on organization, coordination, systems, and practice management. Key Responsibilities 1. Practice & Office Operations Maintain daily and weekly case status trackers for all courts and forums Coordinate with juniors for: Drafting status Filing updates Deadlines and compliances Track: Defects Limitation periods Listing status Orders awaited Prepare daily task lists and structured follow-up reports 2. File Management (Critical Responsibility) Organize and maintain all case files in both hard copy and digital format Ensure: Proper indexing Labelling Cross-referencing Safe custody of documents Maintain structured folders on Google Drive with: Case-wise documents Orders Pleadings Ensure quick retrievability of any file at any time 3. Client & Communication Management Schedule client conferences and follow-ups Maintain client interaction and communication records Coordinate routine client updates as instructed Professionally manage office calls, inquiries, and walk-ins 4. Court & Registry Coordination (Occasional Visits) Coordinate with court runners / clerks for: Filing Defects Certified copies Track cause lists and listing status Occasional court/registry visits when required 5. Digital, Administrative & Financial Support Coordinate basic website and content workflow Maintain records of: Article pipeline Intern/author coordination Maintain: Office calendar Meeting schedules Task reminders Assist in: Billing records Expense tracking Support outreach and legal awareness activities as required Eligibility & Skills Required Graduate in any discipline (Law preferred but not mandatory ) 1–3 years prior experience preferred (company/law office/NGO/admin/project role) Comfortable with: WhatsApp, Email, Google Drive Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets Good Hindi & English communication Excellent: Organization skills Follow-up discipline Confidentiality handling High integrity, reliability, and professional conduct Willingness to work occasional weekend half-days during peak periods Knows how to maintain books of accounts Growth & Career Path This role is structured to grow into: · Office Manager · Practice Manager Since Samvida Law Associates has a fast growing practice and online presence.
