Location | Vikhroli -In-Office | | Compensation | Paid Internship/Stipend Provided | Rs.15,000/- | No. of Position | 2 Resource   We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Database Migration Assistant/ Intern to support the preparation and organization of our legal document database for migration to a new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and accurate transfer of critical legal data.   Key Responsibilities   The intern will be responsible for: * Database Cleansing and Organization: Reviewing the existing legal document database (primarily contracts and agreements) to identify, categorize, and organize files. * Document Review and Interpretation: Exercising a strong command of language and reading comprehension to quickly and accurately understand the subject, type, and parties of various legal agreements to ensure correct categorization. * Folder Structuring: Creating and organizing a standardized folder structure based on predefined criteria (e.g., document type, counterparty, date, or jurisdiction) for the documents. * File Renaming: Standardizing file names according to a consistent naming convention to facilitate future searchability and migration. * Data Validation: Performing basic quality checks to ensure documents are complete and correctly associated with any existing metadata. * Migration Preparation: Assisting the legal operations team with preparatory steps for the eventual bulk upload into the CLM tool.   Required Qualifications and Skills * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB/JD), Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated high level of reading comprehension for complex legal texts (e.g., agreements, clauses). * High computer competency and proficiency with standard office software, including: * Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for tracking and basic data management). * File explorer operations (efficiently navigating, creating, renaming, and moving files/folders on a network drive or cloud environment). * Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in repetitive tasks. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. * Understanding of basic legal terminology is a plus.
