Internship Details

Must Haves:

• Final-year student in a 5-year integrated law program or 3-year LLB program
• Strong interest in finance laws, digital asset regulations, and compliance
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, and highly organized with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to review, draft, and assist in negotiating contracts across various domains
  

Good to haves:

• Prior internship experience at a Tier 1/Tier 2 law firm or in-house legal team is a plus, but not required.
• Demonstrated academic or professional interest in financial regulation, investment law, or digital assets
• Familiarity with compliance processes and evolving legal frameworks
• Proficient in using AI tools for legal research and analysis
  

Expected Key Deliverables:

• Conduct legal research on compliance, digital asset regulations, and broader regulatory developments in asset management
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including investment, vendor, and service agreements
• Support transactions involving fund formation, corporate actions, and business expansion
• Assist with due diligence and the preparation of transaction-related documentation
• Assist legal counsel with governance and regulatory matters
• Manage monthly compliance requirements across jurisdictions for fund and investment products
• Support investor onboarding by managing document flows, compliance checks, and coordination with administrators
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, board materials, regulatory filings, and legal documentation
• Maintain legal and operational trackers, and build internal processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for legal, finance, investment, and business teams
• Coordinate with external service providers on onboarding, documentation, compliance, and reporting
• Contribute to operational, risk, and strategic priorities across the firm
• Support key operational initiatives driven by the Founder’s Office
