Job Description

Alstom is hiring a Learning Manager-Mtier Structure, Training Support for the global learning catalog offer of Bid, Project, Planning & Commercial management. In this role, you will oversee Learning & competencies development by leading and reflecting any updates regarding the global mtier structure to the available global training offer for the respective communities.

Purpose

Oversee Learning & competencies development by leading the global mtier structure update of job codes/competencies/competency matrixes and job descriptions for Commercial as well as Bid & Project Management community including onboarding digital page for new joiners.

The role is key to enable our communities are structured across Alstom in a harmonized way across all regions and Product Lines. All aspects of mtier structure need to be continuously enhanced and updated to cover the actual business demand of Alstom operating model and yearly HR-run update cycle. Community competencies are to be as harmonized as possible across all Group PMO and Group Planning Mtiers and for transversal competencies aligned with other functions. The onboarding program is to be developed and updated via regular new releases that requires coordination and creation of new content such as video testimonials as new processes or tools become available.

Main responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact reporting to the Senior Learning & Training Manager for all Community Mtier Structure updates to be coordinated globally for job codes/competencies/competency matrixes and job descriptions
  • Coordinate yearly HR-led update cycle for mtier owners: process explanation, project timeline and suggested areas of improvement
  • Follow-up with stakeholders and double check updates for consistency across all Mtiers
  • Regular exchanges with HR for transverse competencies applicable to other mtiers outside of Bid and Project Management Community
  • Based on defined job competencies, support learning and development strategy needs to cover growing Tender and Project community and business demand of Alstom operating model.
  • Main point of contact for Onboarding digital platform updates, creation of new material including videos and maintenance.
  • Support as well new training developments as required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate yearly global mtier structure update with mtier owners to ensure simplification and harmonization across various mtiers
  • Maintain job code structure and associated job descriptions up to date as per latest organizational changes
  • Coordinate competence and matrix simplification with mtier owners based on any process updates or feedback for improvement received
  • Support all aspects of development and updates of Onboarding Digital page to ensure up to date and efficient training is available and accessible to community. Ensure Digital page is up to date, reflecting the latest available fundamentals and mtier specific process summaries as well as available trainings.
  • Develop new content for onboarding digital page: video testimonials or small micro learnings of key concepts
  • Maintain academy training overview list with up-to-date information regarding course content, job code allocation, competency level etc.
  • Support the communication and sharing of any updates regarding Mtier Structure or onboarding to the community
  • Monitor Onboarding page statistics and activity participation by following up KPIs and other reports as per requests
  • Support any training development needs or certification activities as needed in collaboration with Training Managers or Learning Certification Coordinator

Your profile:

  • Business Masters degree
  • Competency development and training experience
  • Technical knowledge of digital tools used to manage large quantities of data, sharepoint and digital learning platform
  • Training program development awareness
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
  • Multi-Tasking in project mode on multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication and powerpoint presentation skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong creation skills to design learning resources in powerpoint or other tools
  • Script creation of key questions, topics
  • Managing multiple stakeholders to deliver on time
