The Training Executive supports the Learning & Development function by coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, service standards, and overall hotel performance. This role ensures all colleagues receive the necessary development to uphold the brand’s quality and guest service expectations.
Key Responsibilities 1. Training Coordination & AdministrationAssist in creating the hotel’s annual training calendar.
Schedule and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
Maintain updated training records, attendance logs, and personnel development files.
Prepare training materials, venues, equipment, and logistics.
2. Training DeliveryConduct orientation programs for new employees (induction, brand training, service culture training).
Facilitate soft-skills and operational training as assigned (grooming, communication, guest service, complaint handling, etc.).
Support department heads in delivering on-the-job training.
3. Performance & Development SupportParticipate in identifying training needs through surveys, performance reviews, audits, and guest feedback.
Assist in implementing cross-training, upskilling, and succession-planning initiatives.
Coordinate with department trainers and ensure training standards are met.
4. Quality & ComplianceEnsure training programs comply with brand, local labor, and safety guidelines.
Support initiatives related to service quality, mystery audits, and brand standards.
Track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and KPI reports.
5. Employee EngagementSupport employee activities such as recognition programs, staff events, and talent development initiatives.
Promote a positive learning culture within the hotel.
Qualifications & Skills EducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
Experience1–3 years of experience in hospitality training, HR, or operations.
Experience in a hotel environment is strongly preferred.
SkillsStrong presentation and facilitation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple training programs.
Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
