Role & responsibilities

Needs Assessment: Conduct organizational assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs for different departments and roles within the healthcare facility.
Program Development: Design and develop training programs that address the identified needs, incorporating adult learning principles and leveraging a variety of instructional techniques.Implementation: Coordinate and sometimes directly facilitate training sessions, workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities.Evaluation: Implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of training programs, using metrics such as participant satisfaction, knowledge retention, and impact on job performance.Compliance Training: Ensure all employees are up-to-date with mandatory training requirements specific to the healthcare industry, including compliance with legal and regulatory standards.Career Development: Work with HR and departmental leaders to integrate training programs into broader career development plans for staff.Vendor Management: Select and manage relationships with external training providers and consultants to deliver specialized training programs.Budget Management: Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing return on investment for training initiatives.
