Role Description

We are seeking a Lean Construction Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling Support

• Assist in developing detailed construction schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera; support implementation of Lookahead Plans and weekly work plans in line with the Last Planner System (LPS).

• Lean Systems Coordination

• Participate in daily huddles, weekly pull planning sessions, and continuous flow monitoring to ensure smooth site operations and early identification of blockers.

• Site Progress Monitoring

• Track daily and weekly progress against planned activities. Raise alerts for deviations and assist in implementing recovery plans.

• Materials & Logistics Follow-up

• Coordinate with site engineers, stores, and procurement teams to ensure timely and Just-in-Time (JIT) material delivery.

• Quality & Safety Alignment

• Assist in implementing first-time quality practices, conducting daily quality and safety observations, and documenting NCRs or deviations when necessary.

• Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain dashboards, project trackers, and visual management boards. Support preparation of MIS reports and contractor performance evaluations.

• Coordination Assistance

• Provide planning and documentation support during coordination meetings with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in planning or project engineering roles within high-end residential or commercial construction.
• Familiarity with Lean Construction principles, LPS, and pull planning processes.
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent planning software.
• Exposure to digital tools like BIM, Procore, or Power BI is a plus.
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
