Job Description

As the Head of Sales / Key Accounts Head for a Leading Edtech company in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve the company's growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include leading the sales team, expanding market share, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will involve developing and implementing a robust sales strategy, identifying market opportunities, setting ambitious sales targets, and creating action plans to achieve those targets. You will lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure optimal performance and build a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and continuous learning. Collaboration with marketing and product teams is essential to develop competitive pricing models, promotions, and customer engagement plans. You will build relationships with key decision-makers, secure long-term business partnerships, and ensure proper follow-up on leads to convert them into long-term customers. Your role will also involve managing high-level client relationships, understanding customer needs, and tailoring solutions to meet those needs. You will act as the point of escalation for key customer issues and ensure their resolutions. Furthermore, tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics, market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in sales leadership, experience in B2B sales in the education, technology, or training sectors, and strong business acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to lead a diverse sales team and inspire them to meet aggressive goals. Proficiency in digital sales tools, CRM tools, and sales analytics platforms is preferred. You should be adept at managing and negotiating large, complex business development initiatives, developing profiles of targeted accounts, and driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns. Strong executive selling skills, customer relationship management, and the ability to self-manage and prioritize workload are essential for success in this role. If you have a problem-solving mindset, experience in dealing with VUCA issues, and the ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible value to the marketplace, we would like to hear from you.
