Mission


Redesign eMedPractice into a clean, intuitive, modern experience for clinicians, billers, and staff — simplifying complex workflows without losing power.


Key Responsibilities

1. User Research & Journey Mapping

• Observe how real clinics use the product and document pain points.

• Create personas and journey maps for provider, front desk, and billing roles.

2. Experience Redesign

• Simplify core flows (Appointment → Chart → Claim → Payment).

• Turn multi-screen ASPX interfaces into guided, minimal experiences.

• Design low/high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and run usability tests.

3. Design System & Consistency

• Create a shared UI library (components, colors, typography, states).

• Work with Angular / Blazor developers to implement pixel-perfect layouts.

• Define and document interaction patterns for future modules.

4. Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with the BA and Architect to translate requirements into flows.

• Collaborate with QA to validate UI/UX quality before release.

• Mentor junior designers (if added later).

5. Measure Success

• Track “clicks per task,” “time to complete workflow,” and user feedback scores.

• Iterate based on real usage data and support tickets.


Required Experience

• 6 – 10 years in UI/UX for enterprise or SaaS apps (not just websites).

• Proven experience simplifying large, form-heavy, data-driven products.

• Expert in Figma, component libraries, and responsive layouts.

• Strong understanding of HTML / CSS / Bootstrap and communication with devs.

• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility and usability testing.

• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.


Nice to Have

• Healthcare domain (EHR, RCM, PM) experience.

• Worked on modernizing legacy ASPX / jQuery apps.

• Understanding of FHIR / clinical terminologies.
