Role: Lead - Strategic Initiatives, Mumbai Experience: 10+ years Salary: Up to 25 LPA Role Insight : The Lead - Strategic Initiatives role involves developing program strategies, managing partnerships, and driving projects, potentially at a global level. It requires strong stakeholder engagement and experience in women's empowerment, livelihood, disaster management, education, and rural empowerment. The role also includes travel within Mumbai. _________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Research and development for new programs and external partnerships. Development and incubation of operational plans and pilots for new initiatives. Use structured problem-solving and analytical frameworks to identify problem areas, develop hypotheses, and drive to insightful recommendations. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data, insights, and perspectives for strategic planning. Support the development of long-term strategic plans and annual operating plans in alignment with organizational goals. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, identify potential risks and roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare and present reports on the status and impact of strategic initiatives to key stakeholders. Support the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives, including financial and operational feasibility assessments. Contribute to the development and execution of change management strategies to support the adoption of new initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders relevant to strategic initiatives. Support the identification and evaluation of potential strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations, providing actionable recommendations. Development and maintenance of KPIs with a focus on measuring the impact and success of strategic initiatives. Commission projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives. Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field OR a relevant post-graduate degree in the development sector. 10-12 years of experience in the social sector.
