Job Description

Role Overview: As a Lead Specialist SE, you will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, combining deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to design solutions that deliver measurable business value. Your role will involve transforming how organizations engage with their customers and employees. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end solution engagements. - Lead discovery sessions with customer executives and stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities. - Design and deliver presentations, demos, and solution concepts aligning Salesforce + Slack capabilities with customer outcomes. - Clearly articulate Slack's differentiation and security advantages to ensure customer confidence. - Lead pilots and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), providing technical guidance for successful outcomes. - Act as an industry thought leader, shaping solution narratives with deep customer and market insights. - Represent Salesforce and Slack at events, webinars, and executive briefings, showcasing innovation and value. - Support pipeline generation through solution workshops, proposals, and RFP responses. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to influence the roadmap and deliver customer impact. - Mentor junior SEs and contribute to the Specialist SE community, fostering an inclusive, learning-first culture. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years in solutions engineering, enterprise software consulting, or digital transformation roles (SaaS/cloud preferred). - Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences. - Proven track record navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise buying cycles involving CxO, IT, and line-of-business leaders. - Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities. - Interest in AI, data, and automation and their impact on the future of work. - Strong collaboration, time management, and adaptability in dynamic environments. Preferred Qualifications: - Slack Certified Administrator, Slack Certified Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Administrator. - 6+ years of presales experience in SaaS (sales engineering, solution consulting, etc.). - Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal). - Vertical industry expertise (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare). - Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem products.,
