As aLead Specialist SE, you will serve as atrusted advisorto our most strategic customers. You will combine deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to design solutions that deliver measurable business value and transform how organizations engage with their customers and employees.Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to driveend-to-end solution engagements.
  • Leaddiscovery sessionswith customer executives and stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.
  • Design and deliverpresentations, demos, and solution conceptsthat align Salesforce + Slack capabilities with customer outcomes.
  • Clearly articulateSlack's differentiation and security advantages, ensuring customer confidence.
  • Leadpilots and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), providing technical guidance and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Act as anindustry thought leader, shaping solution narratives with deep customer and market insights.
  • Represent Salesforce and Slack atevents, webinars, and executive briefings, showcasing innovation and value.
  • Support pipeline generation through solution workshops, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to influence roadmap and deliver customer impact.
  • Mentor junior SEs and contribute to theSpecialist SE community, fostering an inclusive, learning-first culture.
Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years in solutions engineering, enterprise software consulting, or digital transformation roles (SaaS/cloud preferred).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record navigatingmulti-stakeholder enterprise buying cycles(CxO, IT, and line-of-business leaders).
  • Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
  • Interest inAI, data, and automationand their impact on the future of work.
  • Strong collaboration, time management, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Preferred:
  • Slack Certified Administrator, Slack Certified Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • 6+ years of presales experience in SaaS (sales engineering, solution consulting, etc.).
  • Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Vertical industry expertise (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem products.
