Lead - Regulatory

Purpose/Objective

Adani Realty is seeking a highly experienced Lead Regulatory - Deputy General Manager to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 15-18 years of regulatory experience in the Construction industry. Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the regulatory compliance efforts for construction projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate regulatory risks and ensure compliance at all stages of the project lifecycle. - Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address regulatory issues effectively. - Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to inform decision-making and maintain compliance. - Prepare and submit regulatory reports, permits, and documentation as required by regulatory authorities. - Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Provide guidance and training to project teams on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures. - Monitor changes in regulatory landscape and proactively adjust strategies and processes to ensure ongoing compliance. - Drive a culture of compliance, integrity, and ethical behavior throughout the organization. - Lead and mentor a team of regulatory professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Technical Competencies

Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations and compliance requirements,Experience in interpreting and applying local, state, and national regulatory standards,Proficiency in regulatory research, analysis, and reporting,Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and environmental regulations

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
