Lead Project Manager

As a Project Manager in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large to complex projects for major client implementations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring successful and on-time project delivery by managing issues, risks, and project change requests. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of all projects delivered to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Sabre products and solutions delivery for Agency Customer implementations. - Understand project management delivery methodology and apply it effectively. - Lead the development and implementation process of company products and services, working with cross-functional teams. - Plan and direct project schedules and budgets in a complex and rapidly changing environment. - Identify customer needs and required resources for successful project transitions. - Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines. - Support change management processes for transitioning to a new system environment. - Manage timely escalations and follow-ups to address project issues promptly. - Collaborate closely with customer support teams and operational verticals to meet project deliverables. - Coordinate interdepartmental collaboration to ensure project/product completion within schedule and budget constraints. - Utilize excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to work with stakeholders and multi-functional teams effectively. - Maintain a close working relationship with customers" key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Education Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of global travel agency industry experience, with at least 5-7 years in Project Management. - Good knowledge of GDS industry, travel agency processes, and operational standards is preferred. - Understanding of Sabre products and services is an added advantage. - Strong analytical and negotiation skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Leadership and team coordination skills are preferred. - Experience working in a matrix organization and leading virtual distributed teams. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree is preferred. - Project Management Certification will be an added advantage.,
