Lead Product Development

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Having structured, focused thinking, and able to keep to task lists and timelines
• Work in a fast-paced agile development environment

Skills:

Technology stack required Ruby on Rails, Redis, Javascript/Jquery, Sidekiq, MySQL, RSpec, Cucumber, TDD, Git etc.

• Must have 3 to 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git, SVN
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience on deployment and maintenance of server (knowledge about AWS, Nginx and continuous build integration tools like TeamCity will be a great plus)
• Have a background in functional composition of web pages using Bootstrap, HTML / CSS3, Javascript / jQuery, and turning a wireframe design into a well-formatted, user-friendly responsive web page
• Knowledge of responsive design; testing and debugging on various platforms
• Ability to code with Javacript/ jQuery with minimal introspection
• Good knowledge of writing test cases with RSpec, Cucumber.
• A deep sense of ownership.
