About Position / Position Summary:
Lead IT Project Management Specialist
- Performs activities to identify and pursue market opportunities for Information Technology products. Leads customer engagements and analyzes customer, competitor and market data to develop IT product strategy, concepts and capabilities.
- Develop business case and product plans. Oversees creation of business and functional requirements and product roadmaps.
- Works with other IT professionals to ensure requirements are met. Obtains funding and approval to develop products.
- Develop plans for the entry of IT products in the external market. Supports product demonstrations, value propositions and represents/promotes IT products internally and externally. Adjusts product capabilities and strategy to meet financial targets.
This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.
Position Responsibilities:
As a Lead IT Project Management Specialist, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Implementation of Program Management Best Practices. Includes developing and implementing integrated plans, policies and issues, and opportunities and mitigation.
- Provide project execution ensuring completion of program phases and maintains accountability for overall program health, maintaining situational awareness and taking appropriate action to ensure successful projects.
- Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.
- Proactively communicates with peers and partners throughout Boeing, including supplier partners. Keep others advised by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to others concerns and suggestions.
- Establish partnerships and engage with internal and external stakeholders, manage relationships/partnerships with internal/external customers, peers and partners to develop strategies, goals and objectives that are consistent with organization strategy and drive business solutions. The position will be pivotal in crafting and managing relationships with US-based stakeholders and working closely with those stakeholders in planning and forecasting activities of the team as well as reporting requirements from stakeholders.
- Generate project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the business process development and system development lifecycle. Negotiate changes to program/project baselines. Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet program/project goals. Conducts analysis and recommends prioritization. Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.
- Provides project execution ensuring completion of program phases and coordination and analysis of program metrics, maintaining accountability for overall program health. Recommends program recovery and acceleration plans, changes and corrective actions. Develops and implements customer and program communication and contact plans.
- As Scrum Master making sure everyone on the team understands the projects goals and scope. Helping the product owner maintain the product backlog. Facilitating scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed. Mentor team members in Agile framework. Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
- Minimum 8+ years of experience leading projects and cross-functional teams
- Minimum 8+ years of experience planning and executing optimization initiatives
- Program and Project Management Best Practices, Agile Scrum Master, Azure DevOps (ADO), ITG
- Clarity, Microsoft Project, Milestone, BORIS, AD&S, ARIS or other Modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Program and Project Management Best Practices, Agile Scrum Master, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), ITG Clarity, Microsoft Project, Milestone, BORIS, AD&S, ARIS or other Modeling tools
- Prefer Agile Scrum Master, PMP, PgMP or equivalent Project Management certification.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12+ Plus years' related work experience or masters degree with 10+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
