As a Software Engineer focused on API development, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to design and implement robust microservices, contributing to enterprise-grade solutions across industries.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer – API Development, you will:

Design and develop RESTful APIs using NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and ExpressJS.
Work within a microservices architecture to build scalable and maintainable backend systems.
Implement unit testing frameworks such as Mocha and Chai to ensure code quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Deploy applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and architecture diagrams.
Provide support during escalations and contribute to problem resolution and performance optimization.

Your Profile

7+ years of hands-on development experience, primarily in API and backend development.
Strong expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and ExpressJS.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., CouchDB, MongoDB) and SQL databases on both On-Prem and Azure.
Familiarity with Redis and Kafka is a plus.
Solid understanding of software design principles and architecture.
Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework environments.
Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in large-scale enterprise system development and integration.
