Lead – Environment, Social & Governance (ESG)

Purpose

Experience

• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in the Solar Manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated track record of leading and implementing ESG strategies
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and community relations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies to align with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive environmental sustainability, social impact, and governance excellence
• Engage with key stakeholders including government agencies, local communities, and NGOs to foster positive relationships and promote sustainable practices
• Oversee the execution of environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide guidance on ESG reporting and disclosure, including the preparation of sustainability reports
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and mitigate ESG risks
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operations
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging ESG issues to inform decision-making and innovation
• Advocate for the company's commitment to social responsibility and ethical conduct.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred

Certification required

• Professional certifications in ESG management, sustainability, or related areas are highly desirable

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards
• Experience in managing ESG risks and opportunities within the solar manufacturing sector
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and remediation strategies
• Proficiency in developing and implementing ESG-related policies and procedures
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant environmental and social regulations
• Experience in sustainability reporting and data analysis
