Lead Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering high-quality technical solutions. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership qualities, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UI/UX, and QA, to ensure project success.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Review code to maintain quality, performance, and security standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption where applicable.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++).
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., MERN, MEAN, or similar).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools (Jira, Notion, etc.).

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver projects within deadlines.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–4 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven experience in leading small to mid-sized development teams or projects.
