Role Summary
The Lead – Drafting & Visualization will be responsible for leading the design visualization and drafting team, translating conceptual landscape ideas into accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and high-quality render outputs. This role bridges the creative and executional phases of design—ensuring every detail is captured with precision, realism, and alignment to project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the visualization and drafting team in producing detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and working drawings for landscape projects.
- Develop 3D models, renders, and walkthroughs using SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent visualization tools.
- Collaborate closely with landscape architects, design leads, and site teams to ensure accurate translation of design intent.
- Manage and review drafting outputs for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain and update drawing repositories, standard templates, and layer systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants for technical inputs, product detailing, and specifications.
- Support project documentation and presentations with compelling visual outputs.
- Mentor junior team members and create skill enhancement modules for drafting and rendering techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in design drafting and visualization, preferably in landscape or architectural domains.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings, levels, and construction details.
- Excellent aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and project coordination skills.
- Effective communication and team leadership capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM workflow integration.
- Experience with plant databases and landscape detailing standards.
- Interest in sustainability, natural materials, and ecologically responsive design
