Lead Data Analyst

Lead Data Analyst

Experience

: 6-8 years

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end data analysis process, from requirement gathering to insight delivery.
Translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations for senior leadership.
Prioritize and manage multiple analytical projects across the organization.
Develop and enhance analytics frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to shape data models, pipelines, and infrastructure.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting platforms.
Build dashboards and automated reporting using tools such Metabase, Tableau etc.
Partner with product, marketing, operations, finance, and other business units to understand analytical needs.
Influence decision-making by grounding discussions in data-driven evidence.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of data analysts.
Conduct code reviews, ensure analytical quality, and promote skill development

Requirements

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
Expertise in Metabase
Proven ability to lead analytics projects and manage stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business narratives.
Experience leading or mentoring analyst teams.

(Preferred )

Familiarity with AWS
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Expertise in BI tools such as Looker / Power BI etc
