About The Role
As a Senior Lead Data Analyst at Airtel Digital, you will be instrumental in shaping data-driven strategies that impact various facets of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex datasets related to sales, revenue, customer experience, and financial operations such as billing, payments, and collections. You will independently handle end-to-end analytics projects, employing advanced AI and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights that drive business growth and operational optimization. This role demands a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Experience, ensuring that analytics initiatives align with strategic objectives.You will also play a mentorship role, guiding junior analysts, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of high-quality analytics execution. Your contributions will directly influence decision-making processes, automation initiatives, and the development of AI-powered solutions aimed at enhancing overall business performance. Qualifications
Educational background in a related field such as Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics is essential, with a bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement. Candidates should possess 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, demonstrating ownership of end-to-end analytics projects with measurable business impact. A strong understanding of core business processesparticularly in acquisition cycles, customer experience, and workforce managementis vital.Technical proficiency is required in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel. Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud-based AI analytics platforms is necessary. Candidates should have experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, MECE methodologies, and predictive modeling techniques.Knowledge of AI and machine learning is crucial, with a solid foundation in applying techniques such as regression, random forests, and boosting algorithms to solve business problems. Basic experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn and familiarity with Generative AI tools will be advantageous. Proven leadership skills, including mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative environment, are highly valued.
