Lead Automation Test Engineer

Position Overview: Mozilor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Automation Test Engineer to spearhead the automation testing function within the organization. This is a newly created role with an opportunity to build and lead the entire automation practice from scratch. The ideal candidate will be fully hands-on in designing and implementing a comprehensive automation strategy, transforming existing manual processes into fully automated test suites. The candidate will initially establish and execute the automation framework individually and progressively build, lead, and mentor a high-performing automation team. Required Skills and Qualifications: B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing with significant experience in automation. Minimum 2 years of working experience with a successful SaaS product. Minimum 2 years of experience in Playwright. Strong expertise in building test automation frameworks from scratch. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc. Strong knowledge of programming languages like PHP, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, and React. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar. Solid understanding of CI/CD tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust. Deep understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and Agile methodologies. Knowledge and experience in integrating security testing and security best practices in test automation. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform. Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to coach, mentor, and train team members across departments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong understanding of product features, UI/UX considerations, application workflows, and business processes. Strong business acumen to align testing strategies with product goals and end-user expectations. Exposure to AI/ML driven test automation tools.
