Lead Automation Test Engineer

As a QA Automation Lead at Anchanto, you will play a vital role in leading the design and execution of test automation strategies across our core SaaS products. With over 5 years of hands-on automation experience, you will be responsible for creating scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Testim, Selenium, and Cypress. Your technical leadership skills will be crucial in guiding QA engineers to write clean, reusable automation code and integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines for early defect detection. Your key responsibilities will include leading automation planning, scripting, and execution across UI, API, database, and performance layers. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Release teams to ensure test coverage and quality gates throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). By representing QA in agile ceremonies and actively participating in release readiness decisions, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality releases. Furthermore, as a mentor, you will coach junior automation engineers, promote best practices in test design and maintainability, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to support cross-product learning. Your proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with hands-on experience in tools like Postman, REST Assured, and database testing, will be essential for success in this role. To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, STLC processes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git-based workflows. Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or logistics product domains, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization, will be advantageous. Additionally, your communication and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in collaborating with global teams effectively.
