Job Title: Lead AI/ML Engineer - Generative AI & NLP

Location: Hyderabad, India – (Hybrid Remote - 3 days onsite) - Must be open to hybrid

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data scientists in developing and fine-tuning generative AI models, with a specific focus on large language models, natural language processing, and natural language understanding.
• Drive the integration of advanced NLP and NLU techniques into our products, enhancing their ability to understand and generate human-like text, automate decision-making processes, and provide deep insights.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define and prioritize data and AI model requirements, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of relevance and accuracy.
• Spearhead the exploration of new data methodologies and AI technologies, applying cutting-edge research in LLM, NLP, and NLU to keep our products at the forefront of the AI field.
• Design and implement robust data processing and machine learning pipelines to support the development, training, and deployment of scalable and efficient AI models.
• Champion the importance of ethical AI practices, ensuring models are free from bias and respect user privacy.
• Articulate complex AI concepts and the benefits of our AI-driven initiatives to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making across the company.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on NLP and machine learning.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and AI, including substantial work with generative AI, large language models, NLP, and NLU.
• Demonstrated success in developing and deploying NLP/NLU applications and services, with a portfolio of projects showcasing your expertise.
• Expertise in programming languages (Python, R) and machine learning/NLP libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding data science teams through complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of translating business needs into data-driven AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is highly desirable.
