Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Learning and Development Manager to join our esteemed organization. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional who will be instrumental in shaping and executing our training and development strategy. The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with various departments to identify employee training needs and design programs that foster professional growth and enhance workforce capabilities. This position calls for an individual with a strong background in adult learning principles, program design, and evaluation methods. The successful candidate will ensure that our training initiatives align with our organizational goals and drive performance improvement across the board. You will be responsible for overseeing the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery, and post-training evaluation. Additionally, the Learning and Development Manager will lead a team of trainers and specialists to implement innovative learning solutions, driving engagement and retention throughout the employee experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and possess the ability to influence a culture of learning within our organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop tailored training programs for various departments and levels.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Manage the learning budget and allocate resources effectively for training initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to enhance program offerings.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify leadership development opportunities and create succession planning programs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master s degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience in a learning and development role, with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to assess training needs and deliver programs that meet those needs effectively.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related technologies.
  • A track record of developing and implementing successful training programs that drive performance improvements.
