Location: Field-based (Cluster-wise travel as per roster)Job Type: Full-TimeReporting To: Project Coordinator / Cluster ManagerSalary: Fixed Rs 14000/- per monthLocation: BiharJob Overview:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Lab Technician to conduct health checkups, collect and process patient samples, and support teleconsultation services by preparing diagnostic reports. The technician will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment, managing lab records, and traveling within assigned clusters with company-provided lab setup as per the roster.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct health checkups including sample collection (blood, urine, etc.) from patients with proper hygiene and safety protocols.• Handle patients with empathy, maintaining dignity and comfort throughout the process.• Process and analyze samples using diagnostic machines (e.g., Glucometer, Hemoglobin analyzer, etc.).• Accurately prepare and upload reports in the designated software/system before patient consultation with the doctor.• Support the teleconsultation process by sharing the reports with the pharmacist/doctor in a timely manner.• Explain diagnostic processes and results to patients where applicable and guide them based on the doctor’s recommendations.• Maintain lab equipment, ensure regular calibration, and report any technical issues.• Travel within fixed clusters as per company-planned roster carrying portable lab equipment and required supplies.• Ensure proper documentation, stock management, and compliance with biomedical waste disposal norms.• Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to all operational protocols.Maintaining Equipment and Reagents:• Regularly calibrate diagnostic machines and troubleshoot any technical issues.• Maintain a log of equipment performance and repairs.• Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of reagents to avoid shortages or wastage.• Adhere to Bio medical waste rules for proper segregation, disposal, and removal of waste material generated during sample collection.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or equivalent.• Fresher/ 1 year of experience in sample collection and diagnostic processing.• Ability to handle field-based assignments and independently manage portable lab setup.• Familiarity with basic lab instruments and diagnostic tools.• Basic computer or smartphone skills for report entry and uploads.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Empathetic approach and patient-focused attitude.
