  • Execute engineering test plans (ETPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with accuracy and consistency.
  • Record, document, and maintain detailed logs of test results, observations, anomalies, and issues using approved tracking systems.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, environmental chambers, RF anechoic chambers, and automated fixtures.
  • Manage lab inventory by receiving, cataloging, and tracking test samples, components, and consumables.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant lab environment, adhering to quality and security protocols, especially when handling confidential prototypes.
  • Provide hands-on support to Hardware Engineers and Test Engineers by preparing setups, running experiments, and performing ad-hoc testing as needed.
  • Assist with basic prototyping tasks, including soldering, component replacement, and simple rework on prototype PCBs or device assemblies.
  • Communicate test progress, blockers, anomalies, and technical issues clearly and promptly to relevant engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hardware development, testing, or production lab environment, preferably within consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency using standard electrical and mechanical lab tools (e.g., DMM, soldering iron, oscilloscope).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions and maintain precise documentation.
  • Experience in one or more test domains such as RF/antenna testing, camera image quality tuning, display characterization, or battery/power testing.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation or data analysis is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of the Android operating system for debugging and test execution on mobile devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across local and global engineering teams.
