Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Lab Technician with a background in Mechanical, Thermal, or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in setting up lab infrastructure in a startup environment and will be responsible for supporting boiler testing, vacuum component assembly, and evaluation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining lab equipment for mechanical and thermal testing
• Conduct boiler performance tests, including pressure, temperature, and efficiency evaluations
• Assemble and test vacuum components, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
• Support prototype development, instrumentation setup, and data acquisition systems
• Maintain accurate test logs, calibration records, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize test setups
• Ensure safety protocols and lab standards are followed at all times
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes and equipment

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical / Thermal / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
• 24 years of experience in lab setup, testing, or evaluation, preferably in a startup or R&D environment
• Hands-on experience with boilers, vacuum systems, sensors, and instrumentation tools
• Familiarity with data logging software, PLCs, or control systems is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
