Job Description

Main Areas of Responsibilities:

Conduct material testing (cement, aggregates, steel, concrete cubes, soil, etc.) strictly as per IS Codes and approved testing protocols.
Maintain accurate and traceable test records, registers, calibration logs, and sample reports for audits and client submission.
Ensure timely cube testing, result reporting, and immediate escalation of any non-conforming material or failed test.
Monitor batching, concrete mix proportioning, and verify raw material quality at site before approval for use.
Ensure lab equipment, tools, and measuring instruments remain calibrated, functional, and compliant at all times.
Other Desired Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations or irregularities quickly.
Ability to work under pressure and meet testing timelines without compromising accuracy.
Basic computer proficiency for data entry, test reporting, and documentation.
Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with site and QA/QC teams.
Ability to maintain housekeeping, safety discipline, and hygiene in the laboratory environment.
