Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering. • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or space systems project engineering. • Proven experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the space or defense sector. • Solid understanding of spacecraft systems, mission planning, AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing), and qualification processes. • Strong knowledge of aerospace program lifecycle – from concept to launch readiness. • Familiarity with ISRO/NASA/ECSS standards, configuration control, and quality systems. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for taking complex aerospace concepts from requirements to realization, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and mission-critical standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design and development of components and subsystems for space systems (e.g., satellite structures, payload housings, thermal enclosures, brackets). Work closely with systems engineering, thermal, and manufacturing teams to ensure integration, performance, and manufacturability. Perform detailed 3D modeling and drafting using tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX . Conduct tolerance stack-up, thermal-structural evaluations, and material selection appropriate for space environments.
