Description

The Lab Incharge Food Processing will be responsible for managing the food processing laboratory, overseeing experiments, and ensuring that all processes comply with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food science and experience in laboratory management.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the food processing lab to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conduct experiments and tests to develop new food processing methods and improve existing processes.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
Analyze data and prepare reports on findings, presenting them to management and stakeholders.
Train and supervise lab staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to support product development and quality assurance initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
1-4 years of experience in a food processing laboratory or similar environment.
Strong understanding of food processing techniques and safety regulations.
Proficiency in laboratory equipment and analytical methods used in food testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
