Lab Assistant

JP Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Assistant to join our team in the realm of Cosmetic Third-Party Manufacturing. As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing laboratory, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our cosmetic products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation, development, and testing of cosmetic products according to established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for production and testing purposes.
• Conduct various tests and analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and product specifications.
• Document and record experimental data, test results, and procedures accurately and in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Production to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of laboratory supplies and reagents, and coordinating procurement as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment in the laboratory.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. BSc in Chemistry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in the cosmetic or personal care industry.
• Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and chemical principles.
• Knowledge of cosmetic formulation, product development, and testing methodologies is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and laboratory software applications.
