Position details

• Role: Computer Lab Assistant
• Location: Chintal, Balanagar, Hyderabad
• Employment Type: Full-time

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage computer lab equipment, software, and resources to ensure smooth functionality.
• Assist students and faculty during lab sessions, providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Set up lab configurations, install software updates, and ensure hardware is operational for classes.
• Maintain records of lab usage, inventory, maintenance logs, and equipment status.
• Coordinate with academic staff for lab scheduling and preparation of sessions.
• Enforce lab safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a computer lab, technical support, or similar role in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with computer hardware, basic networking, and common software applications.

Skills and attributes

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and ability to assist users patiently.
• Disciplined, punctual, and detail-oriented in maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the academic and administrative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,487.26 - ₹32,864.91 per month
