Role Overview: You will be joining Wipro Consulting as the India-based Practice Head for the L&A Insurance practice within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) vertical. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the India Consulting Hub, working closely with regional Consulting Leads to drive business growth and maintain a talented pool of resources for the L&A Insurance sector. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement a strategic business growth plan in collaboration with Regional Insurance Consulting Leads and Account teams globally, focusing on increasing consulting business contribution, opening new opportunities, and expanding client positioning - Grow revenues and improve margins for the Indian Consulting Hub - Support in identifying, shaping, and defining differentiated services and solutions for Life, Pensions, and Annuities within the insurance domain - Act as a deputy to key stakeholders on strategic engagements, drive competency and capability building, and enhance Wipro's market positioning - Lead talent recruitment, development, and capability building in alignment with market needs - Grow the India Consulting Hub talent pool for L&A Insurance in terms of headcount, revenue, and career management - Enhance delivery capabilities, program expertise, and SME knowledge across various areas within the insurance domain Qualifications Required: - Proven track record in consulting sales, delivery, and operational management - Experience in working on transformative technology themes in the insurance sector - Background as an SME in consulting or BFSI industry leading to a leadership position - Proficiency in consultative selling and creating value-based pitches for clients Skills: - Strong expertise in defining transformation propositions and engaging clients with core and disruptive technologies - Demonstrated success in sustaining and growing client revenues through consulting engagements - Deep understanding of customer models, products, services, and business re-platforming strategies in the insurance domain - Excellent leadership, communication, relationship building, and networking skills - Ability to lead diverse teams towards common outcomes with an entrepreneurial mindset - Gravitas to engage with senior business and IT clients, maintaining a professional image - Highly adaptable in dynamic environments and effective communication within a global matrix setup Company Details: Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on delivering innovative solutions for clients' digital transformation needs.
