L1 Support Engineer – Web App Support

Position Title: L1 Support Engineer – Onsite Web Application Support
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha (Bank Head Office)
Work Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Reporting To: Project Manager

Role Objective:

To provide continuous on-site Level 1 technical and functional support for the bank’s web application during business hours, ensuring optimal availability and performance in collaboration with the off-site support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary on-site support resource at the Bank’s premises from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM as per Bank's operational schedule.
• Deliver real-time Level 1 technical support for the Bank’s website and related modules.
• Perform functional issue logging, first-level troubleshooting, and user coordination.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the off-site Level 2/3 support team as needed.
• Coordinate effectively with Bank’s IT and administrative staff for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure maximum uptime of the website and assist in routine performance checks.
• Maintain activity logs, incident reports, and coordinate during maintenance schedules.
• Comply with internal policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
• Be available from UAT sign-off to end of the contract for the full project duration.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university is a must. (Preferably B.Tech).

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in web application support or similar technical roles
• Hands-on exposure to website backend administration, content updates, and basic troubleshooting

Technical Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with CMS platforms, basic HTML, browser-side debugging
• Working experience in Liferay & Laravel
• Ticketing system usage (e.g., Jira, Zoho Desk, ServiceNow)

Training Requirement:

• Must undergo admin-level training on the proposed application before deployment

Compliance Requirement:

• Must produce a valid third-party police verification certificate for background clearance

Employment Terms:

• Contractual engagement through Facility Management Services provider (Bidder)
• Must be available onsite for the entire contract period
• Position is non-remote and strictly bank-premises based

Compensation & Benefits:

• As per industry standards and commensurate with experience
• Additional compliance allowance for background verification clearance

**Salary: 1,60,000 LPA to 2,40,000 LPA
