Job Description

Job Title: L1 Support Engineer - Cloud

Experience: 1 – 2 years

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled L1 Support Engineer to provide first-level IT and cloud support. The role involves assisting end-users with troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows OS, MS Office, and common applications
  • User account management (password resets, active directory, access rights, etc.)
  • Understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls)
  • Installation and configuration of operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and manage IT assets and inventory
  • Escalate complex issues to L2 or L3 support teams
  • Document issues, solutions, and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Ensure timely resolution of support requests and maintain SLA compliance
  • Support user account creation, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.
  • Maintain and monitor antivirus systems and endpoint protection software.

Cloud requirement:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all cloud-related support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and respond to alerts and incidents.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of cloud services (compute, storage, networking, backup, etc.).
  • Assist in provisioning and de-provisioning of cloud resources as per defined processes.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and remote support tools
  • Good understanding of computer hardware and peripherals
  • Knowledge of backup, monitoring, and security tools.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls. Etc)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Certification in cloud fundamentals would be added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
