Job Description

FOR AM :

1. Possesses a unique blend of business and technical acumen, innovative and big-

picture vision, as well as the drive to make the vision a reality.

2. Process driven, with strong analytical and planning skills.

3. Strong Sales & Marketing background is a must-preferably in steel and /or steel

applications.

4. Passion to understand the market and business needs and create innovative

solutions to meet customer requirements.

5. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team and Key stakeholders.

6. Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to

solutions for customers as well as the team.

7. Strong coaching, mentoring and team leadership skills.

8. He/she will treat customer feedback/complaints with respect, urgency and

seriousness/ He will always close the loop and keep the key stakeholders

posted.

9. He/she should work out a system to prioritise the orders and let customers

clearly know our priority system. Basis of Priority shall be Customer urgency/our

commitment, financial impact, long term relationship impact.

10. He/she will work out a system for obtaining relevant marketing intelligence for

product/market/pricing in an ethical manner and to improve and enhance

customer experience, market share and companys profitability. He/she will

present market data in the periodic pricing committee meeting to help the pricing

committee take pricing decisions.

DM/Manager:

1. He/she shall be working to continuously improve the

product/grade/customer/market mix to improve the profitability on the principle

of Better than before. He/she shall be taking a specific time bound

improvement target and work towards achieving the same in a timely manner.

2. Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key clients in the B2C

and B2B, large-scale, government, and infrastructure project sectors.

3. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their project

requirements, and providing customized solutions that address their needs.

4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to

develop and implement strategies for winning and executing projects.

5. Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue

leads to expanding our presence in the market.

6. Lead negotiations with clients on contract terms, pricing, and delivery

schedules, ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies.

7. Monitor project progress, resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients, and

ensure timely delivery of products/services.

Desired Qualification MBA in Sales & Marketing.

Experience Minimum 3 Years experience in Sales & marketing preferably in Steel & related

products.

Relevant Industry

  • Type Exposure Steel and/or Industrial type
  • Knowledge and Skills and Attitude
  • Proven track record of success as a Key Account Manager or similar role, with
  • experience in B2B, B2C, large-scale, government, or infrastructure project sales.
