Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships in the South & North region . The role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and acting as the primary point of contact for customer escalations related to supply chain and sourcing. Preferred candidate profile Generate Leads: Generate opportunities for new business. Develop Solutions & Costing: Develop appropriate solutions working with designers. Anchor the sampling and trial process from the customer stand point, gather inputs. Work with designers for changes, etc. Make Offers and Close Business: Offer appropriate pricing to prospects. Finalize agreement with customer. Help transition business operations to team. Account Management: Manage customer relationship - Manage / meet customer expectations in terms of outcomes and delivery timelines. Resolve Issues- Exception and Escalation Management. Be the interface to customers. Respond to RFQs / Give quotes - Business closures. Plan Deployment of assets. Communicate with customers on all relevant issues. Strategic Planning & Reporting: Weekly and monthly reports. Advise management and help develop strategic direction keeping in view client/ prospects requirements. Perks and benefits Experience: Minimum 5 years in Key Account Management / Business Development in the Packaging Sector preferably Returnable Packaging (Tier 1 & OEMs preferred). Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Business / Supply Chain Management or related fields. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
