Job Description

Job Title: Key Accounts Manager (KAM)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5-6 years in the Building Industry (Preferred: Furniture, Seating, Carpets, and other Building Materials)

Qualification: MBA in Sales & Marketing

The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing relationships with key clients, architects, interior contractors, and builders, focusing on specifying AFC products in upcoming projects and securing tender BOQs. The role requires a proactive individual who can build long-term business relationships while ensuring smooth coordination between various teams, including CAD/Projects, Factory, and Dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client & Architect Engagement:

Meet and build relationships with architects (A, B, and C grade) in the Bangalore market.

Actively work to specify AFC products in all upcoming architectural and interior projects.

2. PMC & Interior Contractors:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading Project Management Consultants
(PMC) and interior contractors.

Secure Tender Bill of Quantities (BOQs) from PMCs and contractors for AFC products.

3. Key Client Management:

Build relationships with key clients in the Bangalore market, including those from IT/ITES,
Banking, Corporate, and Manufacturing sectors.

Understand their requirements and ensure AFC products meet their needs.

4. Builder & Coworking Space Engagement:

Establish strong relationships with key builders and coworking spaces to promote the use of
AFC products.

Specify and integrate AFC products into their upcoming projects.

5. Coordination with Internal Teams:

Collaborate with CAD/Project teams to ensure accurate BOQ preparation.

Work with the Factory team for order finalization and ensure timely dispatch of materials.

Ensure smooth delivery and installation of AFC products, coordinating with logistics and
installation teams.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

• Good knowledge of the building industry, specifically furniture, seating, carpets, and building
materials.

• Understanding of project management processes and tender documentation.

• Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in cross functional
teams.

Education & Experience:

• MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.

• 5-6 years of experience in sales and business development in the building industry (preferred:
Furniture, Seating, Carpets, and Building Material).
