Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Assist in managing and growing relationships with Key Accounts (hospitals, retail chains, corporate clients and distributors).

2. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure timely delivery of products and services to Key Clients.

3. Support the implementation of account strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

4. Experience in selling to corporate hospitals or institutional businesses in critical care, oncology, or other specialty therapy areas.

5. Prior exposure to rate contract negotiations and handling tender business.

6. Track sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports on key account activities.

7. Handle client queries, resolve issues promptly, and act as the point of contact for operational matters.

8. Participate in negotiations and help in preparing proposals, contracts and presentations tailored to Key Accounts.

9. Identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.

10. Maintain updated knowledge of products, services, industry trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision making.

11. Track and report key metrics like revenue, growth, and account performance.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Should have 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, key account management, or client service (preferably in pharma healthcare).

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

3. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

4. Good analytical and reporting skills.

5. Customer focused mindset and proactive approach.
